Ba'al Shem Tov, Bereshit 10/בעל שם טוב על התורה·
אבראשית. ואיתא בזוהר הקדוש (תיקוני זוה"ק תיקון ז') ירא בושת, פי' כמשל אחד שיושב לפני המלך שיש לו בושה גדולה מפניו, עד שאינו מחשב אם המלך אוהב אותו, כדי שיאהבנו, אלא מחשב גדולתו כדי שיבוש ממנו, וזהו בראשית ירא בושת:
