אעוד תוספות מעלה היה לרבינו הבעל שם טוב זי"ע אשר ממנו התחיל התנוצצות משיח, כמו שמקובל בידינו מצדיקים יסודי עולם, וכמו ששאל הוא עצמו ז"ל למשיח אימתי אתי מר והשיב לו לכשיתפרסם תלמודך בעולם, על כן מאת ה' נסיבה שנתקרבו אליו גדולי חכמי ישראל וכו'.

1Another positive trait of our Rabbi, the Baal Shem Tov, was that the light of the Messiah began to shine with him – a tradition we have received from Tzaddikim, the foundations of the world.
