Ba'al Shem Tov, Kuntres Meirat Einayim 61/בעל שם טוב על התורה·
אאמר הרה"ק מוהר"פ מקאריץ, מהרמב"ן עד האר"י, ומהאר"י עד הבעל שם טוב, ומהבעש"ט עד לו, במה נשמות נאבדו בקליפות, שלא היה מי שיעלה אותם, עוד אמר שמהרמב"ן עד האר"י, ומהאר"י עד הבעל שם טוב ומהבעל שם טוב עד לו, לא היו אנשים שילכו בעליות העולמות, וממנו לא יהיה עד ביאת משיח.
