Ba'al Shem Tov, Vayechi 4/בעל שם טוב על התורה·
אבשם הבעל שם טוב דהכי פירושו, יש שכר שהחמור גרם, פירוש על ידי מאכל ומשתה שהם דברי החומר, גורם זה השכר, על ידי שמעלה לגרם המעלות את הניצוץ הקדוש, שהיה רובץ בין המשפתים, שהוא בין היסודות ובשפלות:
