אאל המנוחה שלא יסעו הם ובניהם וזה טעם נחלה והאמת שפירוש מנוחה והניח לכם. והנחלה וישבתם בטח:
1TO THE REST. So that they and their children do not have to travel.15 This is the meaning of inheritance.16) explains rest (menuchah). Nachalah refers to a place of final settlement. So does menuchah. However, actually the meaning of the rest is, and giveth you rest (v. 10),17 and the inheritance refers to so that ye dwell in safety (v. 10).18 refers to being in the land. According to the second interpretation it refers to living securely in the land.
