אלעשר. מהבנין הכבד הנוסף ואין ריע לו:
1OF TITHING. La-ser (of tithing) is a hifil.33 in it. Its normal spelling would be leha’aser. It has no neighbor.34.
בשנת המעשר. זהו מעשר עני:
2WHICH IS THE YEAR OF TITHING. The reference is to the poor tithe.35
גללוי לגר ליתום ולאלמנה. לאשר תרצה מהם:
3UNTO THE LEVITE, TO THE STRANGER, TO THE FATHERLESS. To any one of them that you wish.36
