Ibn Ezra on Exodus 33:3/

1FOR I WILL NOT GO UP IN THE MIDST OF THEE. They will not erect the tabernacle,9 for I will not rest in the midst of Israel.
2[LEST I CONSUME THEE IN THE WAY.] I will immediately consume them if they once again act in this manner. Akhelkha (I consume thee) is vocalized with a segol10. in place of a pattach, and its lamed does not have a dagesh in it even though the rules of grammar require it.11 beneath the kaf and that a dagesh be placed in the lamed. Compare the word achavvekha (I will tell thee)12 should have followed the vocalization of achavvekha. in I will tell thee, hear thou me (Job 15:17).13 of achavvekha does not have a dagesh in it. However, it is obvious that it did in I.E.’s edition. See Minchat Shai on Job 15:17.
