אוי"א כי טעם עבד אברהם אנכי נדבק עם דבר המאכל, והטעם כי יש מאכלים אסורים לנו והנכון שדבריו כמשמעם:
1Some say that the statement I am Abraham’s servant is connected to I will not eat, the meaning of the verse being: I am Abraham’s servant and there are certain foods which we are prohibited from eating. However, I believe that the meaning of the servant’s words are self-evident.45
