Ibn Ezra on Numbers 20:22/אבן עזרא על במדבר כ׳:כ״ב

אוטעם בני ישראל כל העד'. בעבור שיצא אדום להלחם בם הגיד הכתוב שלא נפקד איש מבני ישראל בבואם מעיר אדום אל הר ההר:

1[THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL.] Its meaning is, the entire congregation. Because Edom went to fight against them, Scripture relates that no one was missing from the children of Israel when they came from the city of Edom to Mount Hor.⁷⁵
