אויגל ה'. כנער אלישע שהוסיף במאור עיניו או הכהו תחלה בסנורים:
1THEN THE LORD OPENED. As in the case of Elisha’s young man (II Kings 6:17).97 God added to the light of his98 eyes99 or first struck him blind.100
בוישתחו לאפיו. פירשתיו:
2AND BOWED HIS HEAD.101, literally, his nostrils. According to I.E. our phrase should be rendered, and he bowed with his nostrils. I have already explained its meaning.102
