ושלום!

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבה מכ"ב כסלו,
Regarding my receipt of your letter from 22 Kislev,
בו כותבת מסדר הדברים
in which you write the sequence of events
אשר הי' בקשר למשרתה ב...
that occurred regarding your position in...
ואשר עתה נשארה בלא משרה.
and that now you remain without a position.
ו
והנה חיי האדם אינם הולכים תמיד במישור
And behold, the life of man does not always go smoothly,
וכיון שרצון ויכולת האדם לעלות
and since man's will and ability are to ascend,
הרי זה עצמו נותן אפשריות
this very thing provides the possibility
גם לירידה,
also for a descent,
ואין להתפעל ולהיות נופל ברוח ח"ו
and one must not be amazed and become dejected (chas v'shalom)
כשרואים איזה ירידה
when one sees some descent,
ובפרט כשהירידה היא אך בנוגע לגשמיות
and especially when the descent is only regarding corporeality,
ובפרטיות כשאין הדבר תלוי בה.
and particularly when the matter does not depend on her.

ואדרבה
And on the contrary,
ירידה צריכה לפעול
a descent must bring about
התעוררות כחות אמונה ובטחון
an awakening of powers of faith and trust
יותר פנימיים ויותר עמוקים
more inner and more deep,
אשר גילוים כלפי חוץ הוא
whose revelation outwardly
באומץ רוח
is with courage of spirit
ובהעדר התפעלות מתופעה אי נעימה,
and with lack of impression from an unpleasant phenomenon,
ובפרט שהוא אך ורק לזמן קצר ביותר.
and especially since it is solely for a very short time.

כתבתי לעסקנים בשדה החינוך
I wrote to the activists in the field of education,
ותקותי אשר במשך זמן קצר
and my hope is that within a short time
יוכלו לסדר גם ענינה,
they will also be able to arrange her matter,
כמובן

אם מצדה ג"כ תשתף פעולה עמה[ם].
