Likutei Moharan 38:1/ליקוטי מוהר"ן ל״ח:א׳
אלְשׁוֹן רַבֵּנוּ זִכְרוֹנוֹ לִבְרָכָה מַרְכְּבֹת פַּרְעֹה וְחֵילוֹ יָרָה בַיָּם וְכוּ': (שמות ט״ו:ד׳)
1“Markevot Paraoh V’cheilo (Pharaoh’s Chariots and Army) He cast into the sea; his select officers were drowned in the Red Sea.” (Exodus 15:4)
בא כִּי צָרִיךְ כָּל אָדָם לְפַשְׁפֵּשׁ אֶת עַצְמוֹ בְּכָל עֵת, אִם הוּא דָּבוּק בְּהַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ. וְהַסִּימָן שֶׁל דְּבֵקוּת הוּא תְּפִלִּין, כִּי תְּפִלִּין הֵם סִימָן עַל הַדְּבֵקוּת:
2At all times, every person has to examine himself to see whether he is attached to God. And the indicator of attachment is tefilin, for the tefilin are a sign of attachment.
