Psalms 87/תהילים פ״ז
אלִבְנֵי־קֹ֭רַח מִזְמ֣וֹר שִׁ֑יר יְ֝סוּדָת֗וֹ בְּהַרְרֵי־קֹֽדֶשׁ׃
1a Of the Korahites. A psalm. A song.The temple’sb foundation on the holy mountains—
באֹהֵ֣ב יְ֭הֹוָה שַׁעֲרֵ֣י צִיּ֑וֹן מִ֝כֹּ֗ל מִשְׁכְּנ֥וֹת יַעֲקֹֽב׃
2the gates of Zion—GOD lovesmore than all the dwellings of Jacob.
גנִ֭כְבָּדוֹת מְדֻבָּ֣ר בָּ֑ךְ עִ֖יר הָאֱלֹהִ֣ים סֶֽלָה׃
3Glorious things are spoken of you,O city of God. Selah.
דאַזְכִּ֤יר׀ רַ֥הַב וּבָבֶ֗ל לְֽיֹ֫דְעָ֥י הִנֵּ֤ה פְלֶ֣שֶׁת וְצֹ֣ר עִם־כּ֑וּשׁ זֶ֝֗ה יֻלַּד־שָֽׁם׃
4I mention Rahabc and Babylon among those who acknowledge Me;Philistia, and Tyre, and Cush—each was born there.
הוּ֥לְצִיּ֨וֹן׀ יֵאָמַ֗ר אִ֣ישׁ וְ֭אִישׁ יֻלַּד־בָּ֑הּ וְה֖וּא יְכוֹנְנֶ֣הָ עֶלְיֽוֹן׃
5Indeed, it shall be said of Zion,“Theyd were all born there.”It is the Most High who will preserve it.e
ויְֽהֹוָ֗ה יִ֭סְפֹּר בִּכְת֣וֹב עַמִּ֑ים זֶ֖ה יֻלַּד־שָׁ֣ם סֶֽלָה׃
6GOD will inscribe in the register of peoplesthat each was born there. Selah.
זוְשָׁרִ֥ים כְּחֹלְלִ֑ים כׇּֽל־מַעְיָנַ֥י בָּֽךְ׃
7Singers and dancers alike [will say]:“All my rootsf are in You.”
