Sefer HaMiddot, A Curse, Part I/ספר המדות·קללה·חלק ראשון

1Cursing brings to mourning, God forbid.
2One may not curse another person unless he can foresee the future generations of the one he curses.
3Do not take the curse of an ordinary person lightly.
4It is the intention behind the curse that matters.
5There are times when a Tzaddik’s curse lasts as long as he is alive, but not after he dies.
6An unjustified curse eventually turns back on the curser.
7The wise person’s curse, even if unjustified, and even if conditional, comes to be.
8Even a gentile who blesses a Jew will be blessed.
