אא. גְּדוֹלָה יְגִיעַ כַּפּוֹ, שֶׁמַּצִּיל אֶת הָאָדָם מֵהֲרִיגָה.
1The labor of one’s own hands is so great that it saves a person from murder.
בב. מִי שֶׁהוּא שֹוֹנֵא מַתָּנוֹת, אֵינוֹ מִתְיָרֵא מֵעֲלִילוֹת.
2Whoever despises gifts has no fear of being libeled.
