אא. עַל־יְדֵי פַּחַד הָאִשָּׁה מַפֶּלֶת.
1Fear causes a woman to miscarry.
בב. סְגֻלָּה לְמַפֶּלֶת נְפָלִים שֶׁתִּשָּׂא אֶצְלָהּ מַגְנֵט, גַּם תִּשָּׂא אֶצְלָהּ חֲתִיכַת עֵץ מִקֶּבֶר הַצַּדִּיק, גַּם יִתֵּן צְדָקָה.
2A segulah for a woman who miscarries is for her to carry magnets. She should also carry a small piece of wood from the tomb of a Tzaddik, and give charity.
גג. אִשָּׁה שֶׁהִיא מַפֶּלֶת, תִּשָּׂא אֶצְלָהּ מֵי טַל.
3A woman who miscarries should carry around [melted] dew.
דד. סְגֻלָּה לְמַפֶּלֶת – שֶׁתִּמְכּר עֻבָּרָהּ
4A segulah against further miscarriages is for a woman to sell her embryo.
הה. בַּעֲווֹן שִׂנְאַת־חִנָּם הָאִשָּׁה מַפֶּלֶת נְפָלִים.
5The sin of unwarranted hatred causes a woman to miscarry.
וו. עַל־יְדֵי תַּאֲוַת אֲכִילָה וּשְׁתִיָּה שֶׁלָּהּ הִיא מַפֶּלֶת.
6A woman’s craving for food and drink causes her to miscarry.
