Sifrei Devarim 125/ספרי דברים קכ״ה
א(דברים טו כ) לִפְנֵי ה׳ אֱלֹהֶיךָ תֹּאכֲלֶנּוּ שָׁנָה בְשָׁנָה, מְלַמֵּד שֶׁהַבְּכוֹר נֶאֱכָל לִשְׁנֵי יָמִים: יוֹם אֶחָד לְשָׁנָה זוֹ וְיוֹם אֶחָד לַשָּׁנָה הַבָּאָה.
1Pisqa’ 1253861. “Before HASHEM your God shall you eat it year by year,” (Dt. 15:20).This teaches thatthe Firstling is eaten for two days387—one day [at the end] of this year [of life]and one day at [the beginning of] the next year.
