Sifrei Devarim 7/ספרי דברים ז׳
א(דברים א ח) רְאֵה נָתַתִּי לִפְנֵיכֶם אֶת הָאָרֶץ, אָמַר לָהֶם: אֵינִי אוֹמֵר לָכֶם לֹא מֵאֹמֶד וְלֹא מִשְּׁמוּעָה, אֶלָּא מַה שֶּׁאַתֶּם רוֹאִים בְּעֵינֵיכֶם. בֹּאוּ וּרְשׁוּ אֶת הָאָרֶץ, אָמַר לָהֶם: כְּשֶׁאַתֶּם נִכְנָסִים לָאָרֶץ אֵין אַתֶּם צְרִיכִים כְּלֵי זַיִן, אֶלָּא קוֹבֵעַ דִּיּוֹפְטִין – וּמְחַלֵּק.
1Pisqa’ 7831. “See! I have placed the Land before you!” (Dt. 1:8).Moses said to them:I won’t expect you to accept rumors or talesRather, only what you see with your own eyes!84 19.1“Come and take possession of the Land!” (Dt. 1:8).Moses said to them:When you enter the Landyou won’t need weapons.Just survey it and dole it out !
