1UPON THE TWO SIDES OF IT. Scripture states this¹² following upon the two sides thereof. in order to be especially clear.

בוה"א בהמה נוסף, כי המלה מלעיל כאשר פירשתי:

2[WHEREWITH.] THE heh at the end of the word ba-hemmah (wherewith) is superfluous,¹³ is a variant of ba-hem. as I have already noted,¹⁴ since hemmah is penultimately accented.¹⁵ were an integral part of the word the word would be ultimately accented. See I.E. on Ex. 1:1 and the notes thereto.
