Ibn Ezra on Exodus 31:16/אבן עזרא על שמות ל״א:ט״ז

אושמרו. שישמרו ימי השבוע שלא ישכחו איזה יום הוא שבת ושיתקן צרכיו ודרכיו ביום הששי כדי שישמור השבת ולא יחללנה:

1SHALL KEEP. They shall keep count of the days of the week so that they do not forget which day is the Sabbath. One shall set his affairs in order and take care of his needs on the sixth day so that he will keep the Sabbath and not desecrate it.

בוהנה פי' לעשות השבת כמו וימהר לעשות אותו (ברא' יח ז):
