אויאמר טעם לא טוב, לאדם,
1AND THE LORD GOD SAID. It is not good means it is not good for the man.67, hence I.E.’s comment. Cherez suggests that I.E. is negating an interpretation which holds it is not good for creation that man be alone lest it be said that he is a god on earth. Cf. Rashi.
