אונקרא שם העיר חנוך כשומרן על שם שמר וכן מצרים,
1[ENOCH.] The city was called after Enoch, the son of Cain. Similarly the city of Samaria was called after Shemer (I Kings 16:24) and Egypt (mitzraim) was named for Mitzraim, son of Ham.39
