Ibn Ezra on Leviticus 26:31/אבן עזרא על ויקרא כ״ו:ל״א
אאז תחרבנה עריכם ונשמו המקדשים שלכם והטעם בתחלה היו מקדשי:
1and your cities will then be destroyed and your sanctuaries desolated. Your sanctuaries (v. 31) refers to the temples, which were at first My (God’s) sanctuaries.111
בולא אריח בריח. והטעם כי כבוד השם מלא שמים וארץ וכתוב על נח וידח ה׳ את ריח הניחוח והטעם שלא אקבל עולה אחרי כן מכם:
2AND I WILL NOT SMELL THE SAVOR OF YOUR SWEET ODORS. Scripture states this for the heaven and earth are full of God’s glory.112 Scripture writes with regard to Noah, And the Lord smelled the sweet savor (Gen. 8:3).113 Its meaning is,114 I will not accept a burnt offering from you after this.115
