Ibn Ezra on Leviticus 26:41/אבן עזרא על ויקרא כ״ו:מ״א
אאף אני. כן עשיתי עמהם ויסרתים להביאם אל ארץ אויביהם עד שיכנע לבבם הערל ועוד אפרשנו:
1I ALSO. Did the same thing to them.131 (God) also will walk contrary unto them. I punished them by bringing them into the land of their enemies until their uncircumcised heart will be humbled. I will explain it132 (also) in the phrase af ani (I also). The word af appears unnecessary. Hence I.E.’s comment. later.
בואז ירצו את עונם. ישלימו ויפרעו:
2THEY THEN BE PAID THE PUNISHMENT OF THEIR INIQUITY. Yirtzu (be paid) means they will compensate and pay.
