Ibn Ezra on Leviticus 26:42/

1THEN WILL I REMEMBER MY COVENANT. My covenant is to be read as if written twice. Then will I remember My covenant with Jacob133 is to be interpreted as if written, Then will I remember My covenant, My covenant with Jacob. Compare, even the prophesy, Oded the prophet134 (II Chron. 15:8), which is to be read as if written, even the prophesy, the prophesy of Oded the prophet; your heads, your tribes (Deut. 29:9), which is to be read as if written, your heads, the heads of your tribes. The Gaon says that the reason Scripture mentions Jacob first135 is that all of his years were in the covenant.136
