1AND HAVE ACTED UNFAITHFULLY. Va-timal ma’al (and have acted unfaithfully) is to be understood here as I have explained.69 It refers to something covered.70 means to remove a cover (me’il), to uncover that which should remain covered. Va-time’ol ma’al thus means, and have committed an act of treachery.
