2לריח ניחוח AS A PLEASING ODOUR — as a gratification of spirit to Him Who gave the command and found that His will was carried out (cf. Sifra, Vayikra Dibbura d'Nedavah, Chapter 6 10).

3אשה AN OFFERING MADE BY FIRE given over to the fire.

4לה׳ TO THE LORD — to the Name of the Omnipresent.
