5One can remedy one’s arrogance by wearing tefilin that were on the head of a Tzaddik.

8Torah study is a rectification for arrogance.
9A person’s arrogance causes drought. Clearly, he has sinned in the past and will do so again. One is permitted to call him wicked and to despise him. His soul is from the 974 generations [that existed before the world was created].
10Disrespect, even towards Heaven, helps a person get his way. Yet, arrogance is like a “king with no crown.”
