אהִנֵּה נָא הוֹאַלְתִּי לְדַבֵּר. לִשְׁאוֹל הַסָּפֵק שֶׁהָיָה אֶצְלִי בְּעִנְיַן הַמִּשְׁפָּט הָאֱלֹהִי:
1I have begun. To present my inquiry regarding Divine justice. I am but dust and ashes.
בוְאָנֹכִי עָפָר וָאֵפֶר. וְלֹא יָרַדְתִּי עֲדַיִן לְסוֹף כַּוָּנַת דִּבְרֵי תְּשׁוּבָתְךָ:
