Sforno on Genesis 2:25/ספורנו על בראשית ב׳:כ״ה
אעֲרוּמִּים וְלֹא יִתְבּוֹשָׁשׁוּ. כִּי אָז הָיוּ כָּל פְּעֻלּוֹתֵיהֶם וְכָל אֵיבְרֵיהֶם לַעֲשׂוֹת רְצוֹן קוֹנָם בִּלְבַד, לֹא לְהַשִּׂיג תַּעֲנוּגוֹת נִפְסָדוֹת כְּלָל, בְּאֹפֶן שֶׁהָיְתָה פְּעֻלַּת הַזִּוּוּג אֶצְלָם כִּפְעֻלַּת הָאֲכִילָה וְהַשְּׁתִיָּה הַמַּסְפֶּקֶת, וּבְכֵן הָיָה עִנְיַן אֵיבָרִים הָהֵם אֶצְלָם כְּמוֹ עִנְיַן הַפֶּה וְהַפָּנִים וְהַיָּדַיִם אֶצְלֵנוּ.
1And they were not ashamed. They used their limbs solely for the service of their Maker, not the pursuit of base pleasures. Therefore they considered marital relations no different than eating and drinking and their reproductive organs no different than their mouth or hands.
