Ibn Ezra on Deuteronomy 2:6/אבן עזרא על דברים ב׳:ו׳
אאכל תשברו מאתם. אם ירצו למכור וי״א כי המלה בתימ' והטעם כי אין להם צורך למאכל ולמשתה אלה השנים שעברו והעד על כן כי ה' אלהיך ברכך:
1YE SHALL PURCHASE FOOD OF THEM. If they want to sell.2 Some say that our clause is to be read as a question. It means that Israel had no need for food and drink in these past years. For the Lord thy God hath blessed thee (v. 7) is proof.
