Ibn Ezra on Deuteronomy 32:11/אבן עזרא על דברים ל״ב:י״א

אכנשר יעיר קנו. פועל יוצא והטעם שיוליכם ממקום אל מקום:
1AS AN EAGLE THAT STIRRETH UP HER NEST. Ya’ir (stirreth up) is a transitive verb.116 It means He leads them from place to place.117
בגוזליו. הם הקטנים וכן ותור וגוזל ומלת גוזל שם כלל עם שם כנוי האפרוחים כמו צפור:
2HER YOUNG. Gozalav means her young. The word gozal (a young pigeon) in and a turtle-dove, and a young pigeon (Gen. 15:9) is similar. The word gozal, along with the term efrochim (young birds), is a general term.118 It is similar to the term tzippor (bird).119
גירחף. בנסעם מגזרת מרחפת וכן הענן עליהם בנסעם:
3HOVERETH. When they journey.120 Yerachef (hovereth) is related to the word merachefet (hovered) (Gen. 1:2). The cloud acted similarly when Israel journeyed.121
דיפרש כנפיו יקחהו. יקח כל גוזל וגוזל עד שישאהו על אברתו כי אין בו כח לעוף וזה פירושו. רק פי' על כנפי נשרים דבק עם ואביא אתכם אלי והטעם שיצאו ביד רמה ובאו במהרה אל הר סיני כטעם מי אלה כעב תעופינה:
4SPREADETH ABROAD HER WINGS, TAKETH THEM.122 (literally, takes it). Hence I.E.’s comment. As an eagle takes each and every chick and bears it123 refers to each chick. on her wing, for the chick does not have the strength to fly. This is the meaning of our verse.124 However, the meaning of how I bore you on eagles’ wings (Ex. 19:4) is connected to and brought you unto Myself (Ibid.). It means that Israel went out with a high hand125 and came quickly to Mount Sinai.126 It is similar in meaning to Who are these that fly as a cloud (Is. 60:8).
