Psalms 62/תהילים ס״ב

אלַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ עַֽל־יְדוּת֗וּן מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃

1For the leader; on Jeduthun. A psalm of David.

באַ֣ךְ אֶל־אֱ֭לֹהִים דּֽוּמִיָּ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֑י מִ֝מֶּ֗נּוּ יְשׁוּעָתִֽי׃

2Truly my soul waits quietly for God,from whom my deliverance comes.

גאַךְ־ה֣וּא צ֭וּרִי וִישׁוּעָתִ֑י מִ֝שְׂגַּבִּ֗י לֹא־אֶמּ֥וֹט רַבָּֽה׃

3Truly [God] is my rock and deliverance,my haven; I shall never be shaken.

דעַד־אָ֤נָה׀ תְּה֥וֹתְת֣וּ עַל־אִישׁ֮ תְּרָצְּח֢וּ כֻ֫לְּכֶ֥ם כְּקִ֥יר נָט֑וּי גָּ֝דֵ֗ר הַדְּחוּיָֽה׃

4How long will all of you attack^a someone,to crush^b them, as though they werea leaning wall, a tottering fence?

האַ֤ךְ מִשְּׂאֵת֨וֹ׀ יָ֥עֲצ֣וּ לְהַדִּיחַ֮ יִרְצ֢וּ כָ֫זָ֥ב בְּפִ֥יו יְבָרֵ֑כוּ וּ֝בְקִרְבָּ֗ם יְקַֽלְלוּ־סֶֽלָה׃

5You lay plans to topple them from their status;you delight in falsehood;you bless with your mouths,while inwardly you curse.^c Selah.

ואַ֣ךְ לֵ֭אלֹהִים דּ֣וֹמִּי נַפְשִׁ֑י כִּֽי־מִ֝מֶּ֗נּוּ תִּקְוָתִֽי׃

6Truly, wait quietly for God, O my soul,from whom comes my hope.

זאַךְ־ה֣וּא צ֭וּרִי וִישׁוּעָתִ֑י מִ֝שְׂגַּבִּ֗י לֹ֣א אֶמּֽוֹט׃

7[God] is my rock and deliverance,my haven; I shall not be shaken.

חעַל־אֱ֭לֹהִים יִשְׁעִ֣י וּכְבוֹדִ֑י צוּר־עֻזִּ֥י מַ֝חְסִ֗י בֵּאלֹהִֽים׃

8I rely on God, my deliverance and glory,my rock of strength;in God is my refuge.

טבִּטְח֘וּ־ב֤וֹ בְכׇל־עֵ֨ת׀ עָ֗ם שִׁפְכֽוּ־לְפָנָ֥יו לְבַבְכֶ֑ם אֱלֹהִ֖ים מַחֲסֶה־לָּ֣נוּ סֶֽלָה׃

9Trust in [God] at all times, O people;pour out your hearts before the Holy One;God is our refuge. Selah.

יאַ֤ךְ׀ הֶ֥בֶל בְּנֵֽי־אָדָם֮ כָּזָ֢ב בְּנֵ֫י־אִ֥ישׁ בְּמֹאזְנַ֥יִם לַעֲל֑וֹת הֵ֝֗מָּה מֵהֶ֥בֶל יָֽחַד׃

10Humans are mere breath;mortals, an illusion^d—placed on a scale all together,they weigh even less than a breath.

יאאַל־תִּבְטְח֣וּ בְעֹשֶׁק֮ וּבְגָזֵ֢ל אַל־תֶּ֫הְבָּ֥לוּ חַ֤יִל׀ כִּֽי־יָנ֑וּב אַל־תָּשִׁ֥יתוּ לֵֽב׃

11Do not trust in violence,or put false hopes in robbery;if force bears fruit pay it no mind.

יבאַחַ֤ת׀ דִּבֶּ֬ר אֱלֹהִ֗ים שְׁתַּֽיִם־ז֥וּ שָׁמָ֑עְתִּי כִּ֥י עֹ֝֗ז לֵֽאלֹהִֽים׃

12One thing God has spoken;two things have I heard:that might belongs to God,

יגוּלְךָֽ־אֲדֹנָ֥י חָ֑סֶד כִּֽי־אַתָּ֨ה תְשַׁלֵּ֖ם לְאִ֣ישׁ כְּֽמַעֲשֵֽׂהוּ׃

13and faithfulness is Yours, O my Sovereign,to reward everyone according to their deeds.
