Ibn Ezra on Exodus 12:20/אבן עזרא על שמות י״ב:כ׳

אכל. הזכיר העונש תחלה ואחר כך האזהרה, ואין בכל מושבותיכם תאכלו מצות רשות, כמו ששת ימים תעשה מלאכה (למטה לח ב), רק חיוב למען תזכור:

1NOTHING LEAVENED. Scripture first mentions the punishment³⁶¹ and then the warning.³⁶² In all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread is not optional as Six days shall work be done (Ex. 35:2) is. On the contrary, it is an obligation so that one will remember.³⁶³
