1THREE TIMES IN THE YEAR. Scripture mentions the God of Israel in this section²⁰⁰. He is not called the Lord God, the God of Israel as here. because of the incident of the golden calf.²⁰¹ (Ex. 32:4). Hence Scripture here emphasizes that it is the Lord who is God of Israel.
