אתחת דודאי בנך. חלף ושכר:
1FOR THY SON’S MANDRAKES. Tachet (for) is to be rendered: in place of and as a reward for.19 (for) is beneath. However, this translation does not fit here, hence I.E.’s comments: that tachet is here to be rendered in place of and as a reward for (thy son’s mandrakes).
