1A MULTITUDE OF NATIONS. Many nations shall descend from him30. Its literal translation is, a fullness of the nations. I.E. points out that melo (fullness) is to be rendered as many, a multitude. Filwarg asks, “Who were the many nations descended from Ephraim?”
