אאת הבגדים. והם בגדי קדש:

1THE GARMENTS. The reference is to the holy garments.

באת ראשו לא יפרע ובגדיו לא יפרם. מזה הכתוב נלמוד מה שהעתיקו חז״ל במשפט האבלות:

2SHALL NOT LET THE HAIR OF HIS HEAD GO LOOSE, NOR REND HIS CLOTHES. We learn from this verse what our sages transmitted regarding the laws of mourning.⁴⁷
