Ibn Ezra on Leviticus 23:27/אבן עזרא על ויקרא כ״ג:כ״ז
אוטעם אך בעשור. בעבור שיום מקרא קדש יום שמחה וכן כתוב בספר עזרא לכו אכלו משמנים ושתו ממתקים:
1[HOWBEIT.] Scripture reads, Howbeit on the tenth day, because a day of solemn assembly (v. 24) is a joyful day.216 is a joyful day. The Book of Ezra similarly reads, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet (Neh. 8:10).217), Yom Kippur does not have these characteristics. I.E. considered Ezra and Nehemia one book.
