Sforno on Exodus 2:13/ספורנו על שמות ב׳:י״ג
אוַיֹּאמֶר לָרָשָׁע. מִפְּנֵי הֱיוֹת כָּל אֶחָד מֵהֶם אָחִיו, לֹא הִתְעוֹרֵר לְהִנָּקֵם, אֲבָל הוֹכִיחַ בְּמִישׁוֹר.
1ויאמר לרשע, seeing that each one of them was one of his brethren he did not act as avenger but intervened with words rebuking the aggressor.
