Sforno on Genesis 14:18/ספורנו על בראשית י״ד:י״ח
אהוֹצִיא לֶחֶם וָיָיִן. לְשָׁבֵי הַמִּלְחָמָה הָעֲיֵפִים.
1הוציא לחם ויין, to all those returning from battle who were tired.
בוְהוּא כֹהֵן. וְלוֹ הָיָה נָאֶה לְבָרֵךְ.
2והוא כהן, it was appropriate therefore that he should intone blessings.
