Sforno on Genesis 31:44/ספורנו על בראשית ל״א:מ״ד
אוְעַתָּה. מֵאַחַר שֶׁאֵינִי חָפֵץ לְהַזִּיקְךָ.
1ועתה, seeing I do not wish to cause them any harm.
בלְכָה וְנִכְרְתָה בְרִית. שֶׁגַּם אַתָּה לֹא תַּזִּיקֵנִי.
2לכה ונכרתה ברית, to ensure that you on your part will not cause me any harm either.
