Sforno on Genesis 37:14/ספורנו על בראשית ל״ז:י״ד
אלֶךְ נָא רְאֵה. רְאֵה בְּשִׂכְלְךָ וְתַקֵּן כָּל מְעֻוָּת אִם יִצְטָרֵךְ, כִּי אָמְנָם לְהַגִּיד הָאֱמֶת הָיָה מַסְפִּיק אֶחָד מֵעֲבָדָיו.
1לך נא ראה, “please go and have a first hand look, etc.” Yaakov meant that Joseph should take care of any matters which in his opinion needed to be improved in the managing of the herds.
בוַיִּשְׁלָחֵהוּ מֵעֵמֶק חֶבְרוֹן. לִוָּהוּ עַד הָעֵמֶק.
