Sforno on Genesis 48:21/ספורנו על בראשית מ״ח:כ״א
אהִנֵּה אָנֹכִי מֵת. הִנְנִי מְצַוֶּה בִּשְׁעַת מִיתָה וּמְקַיֵּם הַמַּתָּנָה שֶׁנָּתַתִּי:
1הנה אנכי מת, seeing that I make this my last will and testament when I am close to death, this gift is irrevocable.
בוְהֵשִׁיב אֶתְכֶם אֶל אֶרֶץ. וְשָׁם תִּתְקַיֵּם מַתְּנָתוֹ.
2והשיב אתכם אל ארץ אבותיכם, where my gifts will materialise.
