Ibn Ezra on Deuteronomy 3:29/אבן עזרא על דברים ג׳:כ״ט
אונשב בגיא. טעמו וכבר ישבנו בגיא הזה שהוא ראש הפסגה כי משם נסעו אל ערבות מואב והגיא הוא בהר העברים כי כן מפורש ועתה החל לדבר על המצות בעבור שהיו מול בית פעור החל לדבר בעבודת כוכבים:
1SO WE ABODE IN THE VALLEY. The meaning is, and we had already stayed in this valley, which is the top of Pisgah,30 for from there31 they journeyed to the plains of Moab.32 The valley is in the mountains of Abarim, for the latter is clearly stated.33 (Num. 33:48).
