אנסעו העם חצרות. אל חצרות דרך קצרה:

1THE PEOPLE JOURNEYED UNTO HAZEROTH. Chatzerot (Hazeroth) is to be interpreted as unto Chatzerot. Scripture is being brief.¹⁴⁷

בוטעם ויהיו בחצרות. דבק עם ותדבר מרים כי בעבורה ישבו שם כי כן כתוב:

2And they abode at Hazeroth is connected to And…Miriam spoke (12:1), for they abode there on her account. The latter is clearly stated in Scripture.¹⁴⁸
