Ramban on Numbers 14:7/רמב"ן על במדבר י״ד:ז׳
אוְטַעַם טוֹבָה הָאָרֶץ מְאֹד מְאֹד לְהַכְחִישׁ הַדִּבָּה, לֵאמֹר שֶׁאֵינָהּ אוֹכֶלֶת יוֹשְׁבֶיהָ, כִּי הָאֲוִיר טוֹב וְהִיא אֶרֶץ זָבַת חָלָב וּדְבָשׁ:
1IT IS ‘M’OD M’OD’ (AN EXCEEDING) GOOD LAND. The reason [for this emphasis] is in order to contradict the false report [of the spies] and to state that it is not [a Land] that eateth up the inhabitants thereof, for the air is good, and it is a Land flowing with milk and honey.3 which is taken from Verse 8, ibid.
