אוַתַּעֲבוֹר הַמִּנְחָה עַל פָּנָיו. לִרְאוֹת שֶׁתִּהְיֶה עַל סֵדֶר רָאוּי לְתַכְלִית הַמְכֻוָּן מֵאִתּוֹ.
1ותעבור המנחה על פניו, Yaakov rehearsed the proceedings in order to satisfy himself that it would accomplish to give the impression he had meant for it to convey.
