Ibn Ezra on Exodus 17:6/אבן עזרא על שמות י״ז:ו׳
אהנני. הטעם כי תמצאני, והטעם כחי וגבורתי בחורב
1BEHOLD, I WILL STAND BEFORE THEE THERE UPON THE ROCK IN HOREB. Its meaning is, you will find Me there, the idea being you will encounter My strength and power on Horeb.18
בוהכית בצור. שאין בו מים:
2AND THOU SHALT STRIKE THE ROCK. Which contains no water.19
גואחז דרך קצרה שלא הזכיר ותשת העדה ובעירם:
3[AND MOSES DID SO.] Scripture is being brief, for it does not mention, and the congregation drank, and their cattle (Num. 20:11).20
