Ibn Ezra on Exodus 18:5/אבן עזרא על שמות י״ח:ה׳
אויבא. הזכיר הכתוב דרך מוסר בבואו אל משה, כי יתרו הולך בראשונה ואחריו בני משה אחריהם האשה כמשפט:
1AND CAME. Scripture notes that Jethro followed etiquette when he came to Moses. Jethro went first, the sons of Moses went behind him, and after them Moses’ wife, as is the custom.
באשר הוא חנה שם. כי ימים רבים חנה שם:
2WHERE HE WAS ENCAMPED. He encamped there for many days.91 (encamped) indicates a lasting action.
